Greetings from The Feminist Art Project:
We are pleased to welcome new members to The Feminist Art Project Honorary Committee: Gloria Steinem, Faith Ringgold, Chrissie Iles, Norma Broude, Mary D. Garrard, and Cindy Nemser have all graciously consented to join the committee as an expression of their support for the project and its goals. We want you to know that The Feminist Art Project is co-sponsoring a day of free panels and presentations in conjunction with College Art Association’s Annual Conference, at the Hilton New York, in February 2007.
On Saturday, February 17, 2007, Feminist Art Project Special Sessions will take place from 9:30 AM–5:30 PM in the Hilton’s Third Floor Rendezvous Trianon Room, Sixth Avenue at 53rd Street, New York City. The day's events, which are free and open to the public, feature short panels and discussion. Updating site content is an ongoing process; we welcome your comments and suggestions. For REVISIONS to your current calendar listings, please send your changes to me at this e-address. However for new calendar listings, you will now be able to enter your events online.

HERE's HOW to post an event to the TFAP online calendar:
Go to: https://feministartproject.rutgers.edu/
Click on ‘Participate.’ This will take you to the Login page.
The first time you use this utility, you will need to select ‘Create a New Account.’ This will take you to ‘Step 1 – Account Information.’
Step 1 – Account Information
Fill in your personal information, including the TFAP mailing lists you want to receive.
Then click ‘Continue to Step 2.’
Step 2 – Institution Information
If you are NOT affiliated with an Institution, click ‘Skip Institution.’
Otherwise please use the ‘Search’ function to locate your institution in our database. When you find and select your Institution, you will be taken to the ‘Step 3 – Review’ page.
If you do NOT find your Institution, click on the ‘Click here if you do not find your institution’ link. Complete the ‘Institution Information’ form and ‘Continue to Step 3.’
Step 3 – Review
At this stage, you will be able to review and edit the information you have entered. Once everything is correct, click the ‘Confirm Information’ button. This will return you to the Login page. There will be a message above the Username and Password fields, confirming that an account has been created.
Now login using your Username and Password and submit your event. Submissions will be posted online within a week of submission.
