Workshop, Dues, January Meeting etc.....
The Colllograph workshop with Angela Victor and Michelle Wilson is scheduled for January 6th and 7th at Michelle Wilson's shop: 1229 North Second Street, Philadelphia - just north of Girard on 2nd, very close to the Girard Station stop on the Market-Frankfort line.
The workshop is limited to 5 people, RSVP to Michelle at michelle_print@yahoo.com.
Required supplies for workshop attendees to bring:
Cardboard
paintbrushes and palette knives
Oil paints
Baby oil
Printmaking paper (Rives BFK or Arches Cover recomended)
Newsprint pads
Old leftover acrylic paints, wood putty, fabric, lace, anything to make textures with
January 10th Meeting- will be open critique of members slides or work. Bring 5 slides or three pieces of art. Meeting starts at 6:30 in the Moore College of Art faculty lounge.
**DUES REMINDER**
They are due in January for 2007 Three easy ways to pay:
1. pay pal online at the National WCA site.
2. Download form from website and send it via mail.
3. Bring to a meeting.
Visual Artist collects the discarded, worn out, or broken reclaimed objects to arrange and assemble them into a new and original piece of eco friendly art.
