We've got a new exhibition at the Powel House Museum
(244 S. 3rd Street, Philadelphia) opening next week,
with artist Karen Kilimnik (currently also at the
Philadelphia ICA). We're looking for volunteers to
help with gallery sitting and interacting with the
public. This is a great opportunity to be a part of
an exhibition by an internationally-acclaimed artist.
It's pretty easy work, and volunteers can bring a
laptop or book while gallery-sitting. This project
will be pretty high-profile, and will be good for
making some artworld contacts. There will be a lot of
NYC people floating around! Here's what the schedule
is:
Exhibition gallery sitting June 28th-August 12th:
Thursday-Sat 12pm-5pm,
Sun 1-5pm
(volunteers can do any or all of these days)
Interested volunteers may contact me directly.
Thanks,
