"The Dinner Party" was amazing!!! I highly recommend visiting it if you haven't before. I'd always thought the place-settings were for women artists only, so I was pleasantly surprised to find a chronological presentation from earth goddesses to Ancient Greek goddesses, Medieval Queens through renaissance women, suffragettes through 20th Century artists. Being an embroidery artist myself, I was in awe of the needlework on the table coverings, while I understand others in our group were totally focussed on the ceramic plates. To each her own. The museum is well-curated, presenting works of art in thematic arrangements. Where will we go next?
