Member News: Jennifer Judelsohn
I traveled down to Washington, DC for Artomatic 2008 (an entire empty office building filled with ten floors of art, installations, and performances) to visit WCA-Phila and WCA/DC member Jennifer Judelsohn's painting installation, Climbing the Tree which examines the spiritual concepts and symbols, the Tree of Life and 10 archetypal energy patterns of creation, the sephirot of Kabbalah (the Jewish mystical path). Here are a bunch of WCA-DC members and friends before Jennifer's installation. Visit Jennifer's site http://www.soulworksstudio.com

Jennifer also curated a show in her hometown, Annandale, Virginia of the work of WCA/DC member, Marguerite Beck-Rex called "Quilted Fields of Provence" and "Sanctuary in France." The show is on exhibit at Beanetics Coffee Roasters, 7028 Columbia Pike, Annandale, VA through May 27, 2008. You can see part of the show behind Jennifer and me in this picture. It was really lovely!
