Carol Taylor-Kearney (MFA 1998) will be participating in a group exhibition at NurtureArt in Brooklyn, New York. The title of the exhibition is ECO:DEMO:M.O. Art in Art and is curated by Linda Weintraub. Each artist was selected by Ms. Weintraub based on a proposal and previous artwork. For this exhibition, the participants are required to create an art piece based on environmentally friendly studio practices using homemade, recycled, and retrievable materials. Carol Taylor-Kearney (MFA 1998) will be a visiting artist at Peters Valley in Layton, New Jersey in July 2008. She will be presenting a three-day workshop on Reverse Painting on Glass from July 18th through July 20th. In February 2009 Carol Taylor-Kearney will participate in an artist residency at Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, VT. This is Carol's second visit to VSC-- in 2003, she had received a Full Fellowship through the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation. Member News: Carol Taylor-Kearney
Bonnie MacAllister is a multimedia performance artist. She has performed at the New York Foundation of Arts and the Cat Cat Club in Paris, and her plays have been staged at the Shubin Theatre, Adrienne Theatre, and the Philadelphia Fringe Festival. Her artwork has been exhibited internationally including in Galeria 6 in Mexico, the Utopia Library in Italy, and the Delaware Art Museum.
