RSVP for January 14th Meeting

Dear Chapter Members:

Some of you might have already received your 2008 tax
forms in the mail, and April 15 is a mere four months
away!

At our next chapter meeting, I will be giving a
presentation entitled
“How We Survived Our IRS Audit." My husband (a
photographer) and I (a sculptor) successfully won our
argument -- thanks to meticulous record-keeping,
in-depth research about tax court cases, and advice
from Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts.

While we are not experts, we've learned a lot over the
years (this was our second audit) and you might find
our experiences helpful to your own struggles to
maintain a professional practice.
