WCA MEETING REMINDERS:
Upcoming Monthly Meeting: June 9th - THIS WEDNESDAY!
The WCA Philadelphia Chapter June 9th meeting will be at The School District of Philadelphia Building at approximately 5:30pm to judge the "Young Artists" exhibition prior to the monthly meeting.
A conference room in The School District of Philadelphia Building was graciously donated for our meeting beginning at 7pm. WCA members are welcome to join in the judging prior to the meeting. However, it is understandable if members can only participate in the monthly meeting.
The address for The School District of Philadelphia Building is:
440 North Broad Street (at intersection of Spring Garden)
Just to clarify, the address above is the location of the WCA Wednesday June 9th monthly meeting, not Moore College of Art. The WCA Philadelphia Chapter meetings will resume at Moore College of Art in July.

WCA Strategic Planning Meeting - June 13th at 1pm
All are welcome to join the Strategic Planning Meeting at Virginia’s house on June 13th at 1pm.
We will be discussing upcoming exhibits and opportunities. The more the merrier as we will be interested in ideas for 2011! This meeting will be a potluck lunch and also a celebration - for on August 25th, Dorothea Tanning will be 100 years old. A prominent female artist, Dorothea has work showing at the drawing center in NYC and still going strong!
Please note: this page has moved to www.wcaphiladelphia.org. The WCA is a national organization whose mission is to create community through art, education, and social activism, while recognizing the contribution of women in the arts. The Philadelphia Chapter provides a support network for women artists in Philadelphia and surrounding communities. We meet at member studios to network, learn, discuss art and plan shows. All are welcome! Contact us at wcaphiladelphia@gmail.com.
