"Show Me to My Seat!" Demonstration and Exhibition:
Important dates to remember:
September 3rd: 6-9pm : Meet at 2nd and Market during the Fringe Festival in Old City to support women in the arts as a silent demonstration. Call Ellen at 267.808.9422 if you have any concerns.
Members of the Women's Caucus for Art and friends have created artist chairs. See them in this outdoor exhibition for the Philadelphia Fringe Festival!
Chairs will then be housed at the Old Pine Community Center from September 10-12, 17th and 18. The chairs will form part of the set of "The Waiting Room" which will be a Judy Chicago/ Miriam Shapiro "Womanhouse" style installation featuring live arts performances each night at 7:00 pm.

First Friday, September 3rd Show Me to My Seat
Bonnie MacAllister is a multimedia performance artist. She has performed at the New York Foundation of Arts and the Cat Cat Club in Paris, and her plays have been staged at the Shubin Theatre, Adrienne Theatre, and the Philadelphia Fringe Festival. Her artwork has been exhibited internationally including in Galeria 6 in Mexico, the Utopia Library in Italy, and the Delaware Art Museum.
