Call for Film: Green Light Arts

Call for submissions:

Green Light Arts Film Series

Featuring films created by and about women.

Did you make a film that tells the true story of a woman or women? Did you make a film that incites passion, sparks curiosity and provokes action about women? Did you make a film that explores the role of women in society? If so, then we invite you to submit your film to the Green Light Arts Film Series.

Green Light Arts is accepting submissions of all subjects, styles and lengths. Films must be created by women filmmakers. There is no submission fee. Selected films will be screened at The Old Pine Community Center in Philadelphia, PA. In addition to the screening, Green Light Arts will also host a post-film reception and talk-back where the film maker can meet her audience.

All women filmmakers are encouraged to become artist members of GLA – the cost is only $24 a year. Filmmakers whose work is chosen will be required to become artist members of Green Light Arts.

The Old Pine Community Center is a sponsor of The Green Light Arts Film Center.

Green Light Arts is women creating visionary and innovative artistic programs that challenge and seek to change how society views women. Green Light Arts tells the true stories of women.

To submit your film please send a DVD copy of your film along with a one-page synopsis and one-page bio to:
