Wishes for a Wonderful New Year

I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful holiday surrounded by family and friends. 2011 is coming to a close and in a few days we will all be welcoming a new year. 2011 was a monumental year for WCA. We initiated many changes and areas of growth from the development of the legacy campaign to increased funding for chapter initiatives to structural changes to streamline the running of the organization to the growth and rebirth of chapters in New York and Texas to staging two phenomenal conferences: Live Space: Women, Art, Activism and the Midwest Art and Social Justice to executing two exhibitions: Live Spaceand the groundbreaking Man as Object: Reversing the Gaze, ...and much more.
It is because of an active membership that we continue to meet challenges head on, prosper and grow. I want to thank each and every one of you for the part you played in helping WCA meet it's goals and live it's mission statement in 2011.
Here is to an even more 'momentous' year in 2012!
Happy New Year!

                                         --Janice Nesser-Chu
