A Juried Exhibition hosted by the Women's Caucus for Art New Hampshire Chapter for WCA chapter and at-large members from the Northeast Region February 5 - March 15, 2013 Karl Drerup Art Gallery Plymouth State University Plymouth, New Hampshire Opening Reception: Tuesday, February 5, 2013, 4-7 pm An exploration of women's primal and instinctive ferocity, a source of deep power and protectiveness. The Karl Drerup Art Gallery and the Women's Caucus for Art/New Hampshire Chapter present artwork by WCA artists from the Northeast Region addressing questions of women's wild strength:When, how and why do we access our feelings of our inner wild animal? ENTRY DEADLINE  Friday, November 9, 2012 Online entries through Entrythingy.com   Eligibility: WCA members in good standing from the Northeast Region, including chapter and at-large members from New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Membership for 2013 must be paid in order for artwork to be included in the show. To join WCA, go to http://nationalwca.org and click on Membership. Requirements:  . Entry fee: $20 . Commission: None . Insurance:  Yes, with PSU's consignment form only  . Up to 3 pieces per artist (details allowed, see prospectus) . Media can be 2D, 3D, or installation (no video) . Size: must fit through a standard door . Artist Statement:  If your work is accepted, you will be required to submit a statement (up to 250 words, i.e. 1 or 2 paragraphs) about each accepted piece to be used as a wall didactic. You will also need to submit your artist statement and resume to be placed in a binder in the gallery for the duration of the exhibition.     To Enter:   Simply visit our great new website at www.wcanh.org, go to Exhibitions, then scroll down on right under Exhibitions Calendar to GROWL. Click on prospectus, print a copy and keep it. To enter the show, click on the link for Entrything.com and follow the directions in the prospectus.  Use the login on left to create your password or enter your existing Entrythingy user name and password, then continue with My Entries at top right.
