Member News: Virginia Maksymowicz's Report from China

Virginia Maksymowicz recently returned from a three-week, art-related trip to China. Besides visiting museums, galleries and art colleges, she was able to link up with Beijing artist, Yan Yinhong, whom she first met in 2009 when Yinhong was in Philadelphia as part of the "Ink/Not Ink" exhibition at Drexel. Yinhong is a wonderful artist whose work addresses the demands of motherhood, her role as a Chinese woman, family issues and politics.
