An exploration of women's primal and instinctive ferocity, a source of deep power and protectiveness. The Karl Drerup Art Gallery and the Women's Caucus for Art/New Hampshire Chapter present artwork by WCA artists from the Northeast Region addressing questions of women's wild strength:When, how and why do we access our feelings of our inner wild animal? How does our current culture embrace/reject ferocity in women?
WCA/NH would like to thank Gallery Director Terry Downs and all the staff at the Karl Drerup Art Gallery at Plymouth State University, whose dedication and efforts have made this exhibition possible.
WCA/NH is the New Hampshire Chapter of the Women's Caucus for Art. WCA/NH is part of a national organization that promotes the advancement of women in the visual arts through educational programs, networking and exhibition opportunities.
