Just wanted to share some more info about the organization and what we'll be doing.

We are women supporting women in the arts. We are going to discuss the future of the chapter, including venues and opportunities to exhibit as well as if we want to have guest speakers or do any events or trips. Bring your ideas!
We will also need to nominate new board members so we will talk about what's needed and you can nominate yourself for a position you're interested in and then we will have elections. You must be a member to serve or vote.
Everyone will need to join/ renew your member ship for 2014. You can join on the site. If you join now your membership will be free until the end of this year, then valid until December of 2014. So, you get more bang for your buck.
The membership fee not only supports our chapter and events, it also allows you to enter contests through WCA nationwide and you will hear about these opportunities through us, via our newsletter (goes to members only), our blog, Facebook and Twitter. If you're not sure about joining- you can always come to the meeting on Sunday and decide then. We'd love to have you! It's a really great way to network with other awesome women artists.
Hope to see you Sunday at 2PM at Moore College of Art. Don't forget to sign in and show ID, go towards the back- we'll be in the faculty dining room. Bring a friend if you'd like. Thanks for spreading the word!
