  • Call for participants for The Ironing Board Project
I am seeking women to participate in a project I have been working on for about two years. What began as a project as part of my MFA has become an ongoing and growing project involving collection, printmaking, performance and eventually publication.
The Ironing Board Project was born out of a desire to reveal and preserve a feminine narrative which is often overlooked in contemporary culture. The multiple elements of this project, including collection, performance and installation, work together to illustrate and illuminate a narrative of the ordinary woman. There are few parameters for submission and detailed information can be found at www.theibp.wordpress.com or you can contact me and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Please take a moment to visit the site, check out the invitation and consider participating. I am currently preparing for the second performance which will take place in Kentucky in October. I hope to find more venues and opportunities over the next year or so and will keep the blog updated as I find them.
    Thank you!
