Art History Adjunct Position
A message from Pamela Flynn:
Greetings-I am wondering if anyone in WCA might be interested in teaching Art History Iat Holy Family this fall. I am interviewing for an adjunct. The class will run M 5:45-8:45.
To apply one needs an MFA in studio art or a PhD in art history. Please let the members know and if there is anyone interested they should please email me ASAP with a resume: pflynn12@holyfamily.edu.

It is at the Holy Family University Northeast campus.
The text is Gardners and if you go to Amazon you can see the chapters and some of the text. There is a course outline and the text really dictates the course.
The second level will be offered in the spring and I am looking for someone who will be able to teach both semesters-it will be the same time.
The following academic year the course will be offered during the day.

Congratulations to Stephanie Paone, Graphic Design major and recent graduate of Moore College of Art & Design, for winning the WCA Philadelphia Chapter Scholarship and Membership for her piece about Stroke Awareness in honor of her father!
School District of Philadelphia Award
WCA Philadelphia Chapter will be awarding a $100 award to Philadelphia School District Youth Artist Exhibition Award Winner Meridian Rogers-Lowe of J.R. Masterman, Grade 12. Shhh! It's a surprise! Here's her piece:

I put together the exhibition schedule in May so you will hear back in late May. Please send the submission via mail not electronically.
WCA Phila: Are you interested in a juried show?
Please email me at wcaphiladelphia@gmail.com by June 15th if you would be interested in participating in a juried show with a Connections theme.
Please let me know the general size of the work. We are planning shows and have a few venues to decide upon based on the overall response and size of the works.
