Tacoma Contemporary seeks proposals for its 2008 Urban Art Installations program.

This program invites artists, artist teams, and curators to develop temporary art installations for the windows of the F.W. Woolworth building, located in downtown Tacoma, WA. The Louisiana Division of the Arts announces a call to artists for two sculptural works for the Bienville Building.

Create sculptural works for two indoor marble wall niches that compliment the architectural style of the building and/or historical theme. The wall niches measure approximately 8 feet 2 inches tall X 5 feet wide X 16 inches deep. The work must be permanent in nature and require very little long-term maintenance.
