Member News: Bonnie MacAllister
Bonnie MacAllister is a part of the New Light theatre series featuring original work by Philadelphia women artists. She cowrote "Silks and Satins" with Jana Nogowski, and she acts in the piece as Blue. The performance run begins Wednesday, June 16 through Sunday, June 20. To buy tickets click here. Green Light Arts is a member-based nonprofit organization that supports and unites women artists of all disciplines to create art that enriches our society. Green Light Arts (formerly Green Light Productions) underwent a major transition in 2009 to redefine our commitment to all women artists. Green Light is dedicated to the success of female artists and our core programs include New Light, GLO, The Women's Art Show and The Emerging Artists Mentorship Program. All women artists are invited to become an Artist Member for $24 annual dues. Artist Members are the core of Green Light Arts. Bonnie MacAllister is a multimedia performance artist. She has performed at the New York Foundation of Arts and the Cat Cat Club in Paris, and her plays have been staged at the Shubin Theatre, Adrienne Theatre, and the Philadelphia Fringe Festival. Her artwork has been exhibited internationally including in Galeria 6 in Mexico, the Utopia Library in Italy, and the Delaware Art Museum.
